I’m Simon and I’m The Mali Dad. The Mali Dad isn't just a name, - it's my way of life. With a pack of 6 dogs at home (4 Belgian Malinois and 2 German Shepherd/Husky mixes), every day is a masterclass in dog behaviour, pack dynamics, and the art of staying one step ahead of some seriously clever canines.

Living with high drive breeds like the Belgian Malinois means understanding what makes them tick. These aren't your average family pets - they're intelligent, intense, and need proper guidance. That hands-on experience with demanding breeds is what sets The Mali Dad apart.

My Approach

Forget the cookie-cutter training methods. Every dog is an individual, and what works for a laid back Labrador won't cut it for a fired up high drive reactive Malinois. I focus on:
